How to Apply the Luxy Hair Halo

Step 1: Brush your hair and Halo

Brush your natural hair thoroughly to remove any tangles.

Then, gently brush your Halo Extension and the included 2-clip wefts using:

  • A loop brush for hair extensions
  • A wide-tooth comb
  • A paddle brush

Step 2: Section your hair

Create a clean, straight section around the crown of your head and tie the top section into a bun.

For the best fit:

  • Leave out the front pieces that frame your face.
  • Make the section about 1 inch behind your hairline.
  • Avoid placing the section too far back, as this may indicate the Halo wire is too small.

Step 3: Apply the Halo Extension.

The Halo will come with an adjustable wire. For instructions on how to fit your Halo wire to your size, click here.
  1. Place the Halo Extension over your bun.
  2. Secure the clips first.
  3. Then position and adjust the Halo wire.
Attaching the clips before adjusting the wire helps prevent the wire from shifting or tangling during application.

Step 4: Attach the 2-clip wefts

Attach one 2-clip weft on each side of your head, about 2 inches above your ears.

For extra security, place the front clip directly over the Halo wire.

Step 5: Blend your hair

Release your bun and gently brush your natural hair over the Halo Extension and wefts.

Brush your hair forward toward your face to help conceal the Halo wire and create a seamless blend.
