How do I apply the Luxy Hair Halo?

Updated by Aleksandra

  1. BRUSH YOUR HAIR

Brush your hair thoroughly to get rid of tangles. Then, brush out your Halo® hair extension and each 2-clip weft gently using our Loop Hair Extensions Brush, or a wide-toothed comb or paddle brush.

  1. SECTION OFF YOUR HAIR

Section off your hair at the crown, tying it into a bun at the top of your head. Leave out the front sections of hair that frame your face to ensure a natural blend. Ensure the section of hair you pull back is one inch behind the front of your head. It shouldn’t be far back towards the back of your head as this means the Halo wire is too small for you.

To ensure the wire sits properly & blends in well make sure the front parting section you created is as “straight” & clean as possible.

  1. APPLY YOUR HALO® HAIR EXTENSION

Choosing the wire length that best fits the size of your head, position your Halo® hair extension over your bun where you parted your hair. Apply the clips prior to securing  the Halo wire to ensure an easy application & proper fit.

If you try to apply the wire first prior to the clips, they can snag on your hair & the entire Halo will move around & may tangle with the hair you pulled back/the section you created
  1. SECURE A 2-CLIP WEFT AT EACH TEMPLE

For some extra oomph around the sides of your face, secure the 2-clip wefts at either side of your head about two inches above your ear. When applying the 2-clip wefts, secure the clip that is closest to the front of your head directly over the wire to hold it into place.

  1. BLEND FOR HEAVENLY RESULTS

Take down your bun and brush through your hair to smooth everything out ensuring your natural hair is covering all the wefts and the Halo® hair extension. Making sure to comb the hair forwards towards your head to hide the wire instead of horizontally towards each side of your head.
