How do I choose the right color Clip-In Bun?

Updated 1 day ago by Aleksandra

Should I match the Clip-In Bun color to my natural hair color?

We recommend matching your Clip-In Bun to the mid-ends of your hair (the hair color that will be visible right above where you will be applying your bun).

For help choosing your perfect match and a detailed breakdown of each shade click here or scroll below to see our shades in action.

Can I wear a different color?

You can definitely wear a different color bun from your natural hair - this works best if you have a solid hair color. It will all come down to your personal preference - we recommend having fun with it! Check out the below transformations as an example of wearing a color that is a different shade than your roots. Check out the below photos.

Your Luxy Hair Clip-In Bun will come with a tester swatch so that you can test it out prior to committing to it. For more information regarding our return policy, click here.

I wear your Balayage/Highlight extensions - which shade should I pick?

You can opt for the base color of the balayage/highlight shade that matches your roots or you can opt for the highlight color of the balayage shade for a lighter look. For example, if you wear Chocolate Brown Balayage shade you can go for Chocolate Brown (base) or Chestnut Brown (highlight). For a full breakdown of what colors make up the shade you wear click here or see below.
