You can opt for the base color of the balayage/highlight shade that matches your roots or you can opt for the highlight color of the balayage shade for a lighter look. For example, if you wear Chocolate Brown Balayage shade you can go for Chocolate Brown (base) or Chestnut Brown (highlight). Off BlackIdeal if you wear Off Black Balayage and want to match the base.

Mocha Brown: Ideal if you wear Mocha Brown Balayage or Mocha Bronde Balayage and want to match the base.

Dark Brown: Ideal if you wear Dark Brown Balayage or Dark Ash Brown Balayage and want to match the base.
