Are there any different care instructions for the Luxy Hair Clip-In Bun? How often should I wash it?

Updated by Aleksandra

We recommend purchasing sulfate-free and alcohol-free products. Keep in mind, the less you wash your Clip-In Bun, the longer it will last. Unlike traditional clip-in hair extensions, the Clip-In Bun is not applied directly to the scalp and therefore, does not need to be washed as frequently. We recommend only washing when there is significant product buildup.

Always brush your Clip-In Bun gently, starting from the bottom and working your way to the top using the Loop Hair Extensions Brush. Before washing, carefully brush through any tangles. Wet your Clip-In Bun with lukewarm water, then apply a small amount of shampoo and carefully massage the hair. Next, rinse out the shampoo and apply conditioner. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry. We highly recommend taking a look at this blog post as it walks you through all of our hair extensions care, tips and tricks to ensure your bun lives a long and happy life.
